India's Toy Industry Gears Up for Global Collaboration

The event brought together some of the biggest global companies in the toy industry including Walmart, Amazon, Spin Master, and IMC Toys.

New Delhi- At the second Toy CEO Meet 2024, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, gave a speech and encouraged the toy industry to collaborate and promote creativity and innovation through toys.

The meet was organized by the Toy Association of India along with DPIIT and Invest India. The event brought together some of the biggest global companies in the toy industry including Walmart, Amazon, Spin Master, and IMC Toys.

In his speech, the minister talked about the vision of the Prime Minister for creating a Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and urged the participants to continue working together and celebrate India's toy-making legacy. He said, "The Prime Minister has a vision to make India a global toy hub. He has also said that we will make sure that the country's toy sector grows and flourishes."

He said, 'Indian toy industry witnessing remarkable growth, we are well on our way to making India a global toy manufacturing hub, in line with PM's vision of ‘Make in India for the world’.

According to experts, this year's Toy CEO Meet will provide a platform for collaboration between the Indian and global toy industry. The event will also discuss investment opportunities in India for toys.

The CEO of Invest India, Nivruti Rai, said on the occasion that India has a significant market potential for investment due to the expanding toy demand among young people.

Along with this, the speakers also shared their growth stories and expressed enthusiasm about expanding their operations in India. Overall, this event has created a platform for the growth of the Indian toy industry.
