India's Tourism Ministry Shines at IFTM Top Resa 2024

Ambassador unveils Incredible India Pavilion in Paris

New Delhi- The Ministry of Tourism is participating in the prestigious tourism trade fair IFTM Top Resa 2024. The event is to be held in Paris, France, from September 17 to 19, 2024.

The Incredible India Pavilion was opened by the Ambassador of India to France, Jawed Ashraf, in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Tourism, the state tourism departments of Meghalaya and Jammu and Kashmir, and other travel trade stakeholders of the country.

The Pavilion aims to showcase the diversity of tourism products and destinations offered in India. It also aims to promote international tour operators and their experiences in the country. The India Pavilion also presents a unique opportunity to showcase the country’s rich Yoga practices to visitors.

The participation of India in this prestigious event is aimed at strengthening its presence in key international markets. It is also expected to significantly increase inbound tourism to India. In 2023, the country received 9.24 million foreign tourists, including 0.18 million from France. France is the 11th largest source market for foreign tourists to India.

This event will attract a wide range of participants from the travel and hospitality sectors, including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hoteliers, cruise lines, travel technology providers, tourism boards, and more. It is a platform for them to showcase their products and services to international tourists and potential collaborators.
