Experts Aim to Streamline NTA Exams

High-level committee seeks student, parent input

New Delhi- As the government plans to conduct reforms in the National Testing Agency (NTA), a high-level committee of experts has begun its consultation with students and parents to ensure smooth and fair conduct of examinations.

The first meeting of the committee was held on Monday. According to the information, the former chairman of ISRO, Dr. K Radhakrishnan, chaired the meeting. The committee will listen to the concerns and suggestions of the students and parents and will then develop a robust and tamperproof system to reduce the stress of the students.

The government had recently constituted a seven-member committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Radhakrishnan to make reforms in the examination process of the NTA. This committee will review the existing processes and suggest improvements in the examination process of the NTA. The committee will also make recommendations for the improvement of data security protocols and other related areas. The committee has been given two months to submit its report to the Ministry of Education.
