New Delhi- The Ministry of Education is currently working towards completing the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020. A week-long campaign titled 'Shiksha Saptah' is being organised by the department to celebrate the anniversary.

On the seventh day of the campaign, schools across the nation will focus on community involvement in education through the Vidyanjali and Tithi Bhojan initiatives. The department has designed a list of suggested activities for schools to participate in. Schools will be required to sign up for the Vidyanjali portal and submit the names of volunteers they have recruited. A 'Wall of Fame' will also be created for volunteers, and their names will be displayed in the schools.

It is part of the campaign that the department of education has given suggestions for community awareness activities such as rallies, street plays, poster-making, and chart-making about volunteer activities. According to the department, these activities will aid in the creation of a strong support system for students and teachers, resulting in a better learning environment.

The department's efforts are in line with the National Education Policy 2020's goal of enhancing community participation in education. The initiatives aim to strengthen schools and improve the quality of education by bringing together communities, corporations, and the private sector across the country.
