Arjun Ram Meghwal Inaugurates Kerala High Court's Arbitration Centre

Kochi- Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal emphasized the transformative role of technology in empowering society and modernizing India's legal framework, during the inauguration of the Arbitration Centre at the Kerala High Court on Saturday evening.

In his address, Meghwal acknowledged the persistent challenge of case backlogs and highlighted the government's ongoing efforts to create an ecosystem that facilitates faster and more efficient resolution of cases by the judiciary. He pointed out that arbitration, mediation, and conciliation are increasingly seen as effective alternatives to traditional dispute resolution methods.

The Minister also mentioned that over 1,562 outdated laws have been repealed to simplify the legal system, ensuring that citizens are not entangled in unnecessary legal complexities.
