BJP, Congress, BAP Exploiting Tribals for Political Gains: BTP President Slams Rivals, Launches 'Vada Yaad Dilao Abhiyan' in Rajasthan

Dungarpur- In a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, and Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP), Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) Rajasthan President Dr. Velaram Ghogra accused these parties of treating the tribal community as mere vote banks while neglecting their real development needs for decades.

Speaking at a program in Dungarpur, Dr. Ghogra outlined BTP's upcoming strategy, announcing the launch of the 'Promise Reminder Campaign' (Vada Yaad Dilao Abhiyan) across Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) areas. Under this initiative, party workers will go door-to-door to expose the unfulfilled promises, announcements, schemes, committees, and commissions formed by Congress and BJP governments. "These parties have only served their political interests by pitting tribals against each other, ignoring local issues," Dr. Ghogra alleged.

He highlighted key failures, noting that laws like the PESA Act (Panchayats Extension to Scheduled Areas), environmental protection measures, and empowering Gram Sabhas were enacted but never implemented on the ground. BTP vows to fight for their full enforcement, Dr. Ghogra added.

Dr. Ghogra claimed that BTP's emergence has compelled rivals to pay attention to tribal areas. "Today, even the Prime Minister and Chief Minister visit these regions, honoring tribal heroes and announcing budgets, achievements we take pride in," he said, crediting the party's advocacy.

The BTP chief didn't spare BAP, revealing that several of its leaders were once BTP members but formed a new party out of "greed and ego" after failing to secure repeated election tickets under BTP's one-term rule. In a key organizational move, Dr. Ghogra handed over appointment letters to Dilip Parda as Banswara District President, Somchand Pandwala as Dungarpur District President and Dinesh Kumar Ahari as Udaipur District President.
