Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar, a bureaucrat turned politician, addressed a gathering of Ambedkarites in New Jersey, USA. Quoting Thullicius, Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar said, "The strong will do what they wish, the weak shall do what they must." He mentioned that the weak have no choice but to follow the strong, as they follow agendas given by the strong and mighty, even though the strong are a minority compared to the majority of the weak. "If you don't have an independent voice, the strong will erase you from this world," he asserted. His audience primarily consisted of Telugu-speaking Ambedkarites from the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting the contributions of Bahujan leaders, he emphasized that without figures like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Jyotibarao Phule, and Mata Savitri Bai Phule, they wouldn't be where they are today. He mentioned that if Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had settled in Columbia, his life would have been different. As the President of Telangana BSP, the former IPS officer discussed the struggles of BSP founder Kanshi Ram and raised slogans given by him, such as "Vote Humara Raaz Tumhara Nahi Chalega."

Casteist People corrupting Institutions in USA

Addressing the movement against caste in the United States, he expressed support and concern over the rise of casteism among the NRI community. He cautioned that casteist individuals have corrupted Indian institutions with caste and might do the same with American institutions, which are generally more liberal compared to those in India.

Responding to a question about the decline of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), he considered the decline temporary and attributed it to the BJP's rise. He mentioned that the BJP has co-opted leaders from marginalized sections, influencing them to vote for the BJP, resulting in a loss of vote share for the BSP. He accused the ruling party of corrupting institutions like the CBI and ED, causing trouble for BSP leaders through them.

Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar, an alumnus of Harvard University, visited the US to attend a university program. The event was attended by alumni of The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) who are studying in the USA. During his tenure as a bureaucrat, Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar transformed TSWREIS. Other notable speakers at the event included Venkat Maroju and Roy Manthena from the Global NRI Forum. Representatives from Ambedkar International Mission, Ambedkar International Centre, and IAMC (Indian American Muslim Council) were also present.
