Patna — Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav has sparked a new controversy by alleging the existence of a “DK Tax” and a shadowy figure called “ Boss” who he says controls the state’s affairs.

Speaking to reporters in Bagaha, West Champaran, on Saturday, Yadav claimed that “DK is the super CM in Bihar,” implying Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has lost control of the administration. He accused “Boss” of being the real authority behind widespread corruption at the block and police station levels, alleging that all illicit activities benefit this figure.

Yadav said he would soon reveal the identity of “DK Boss” and present evidence of corruption and illegal recoveries. “In the coming time, I will reveal who is DK, how the recovery is being done, and what deeds are being carried out. We will put all these things in front of the public,” he said.

Yadav also accused Kumar of losing control of the administration, saying, “The Chief Minister of Bihar is not in his senses; he is not able to run Bihar.” This announcement has sent shockwaves through Bihar’s political circles, with opposition parties demanding clarity and supporters rallying behind Yadav’s claims. The RJD leader has intensified his attack on the Kumar-led government, dismissing any possibility of an alliance ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. “There is no meaning in it. We will not hit the axe on our foot,” Yadav said, emphasizing the RJD’s focus on maintaining its independent political path.
