New Delhi- Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a large gathering at R.K. Puram in Delhi on Sunday, where he drew parallels between the upcoming spring season and what he predicted would be a new era of development for the capital. Speaking on Basant Panchami, Modi praised the diverse character of R.K. Puram while expressing confidence that the BJP would form the next government in Delhi, with crowds echoing his message through enthusiastic chants.

In his address, Modi launched a strong critique of the AAP government's 11-year tenure, characterizing it as a period of wasted opportunities and unfulfilled promises. He emphasized the contrast between what he termed "AAP-da's false promises" and his own "Modi guarantee" of complete delivery on commitments. The Prime Minister highlighted the recent Union Budget as evidence of his government's dedication to development, focusing on four key pillars: the poor, farmers, youth, and women's empowerment. He also detailed new tax reforms, comparing current policies favorably to historical tax rates under previous Congress governments.

The Prime Minister outlined specific promises for Delhi's future under BJP governance, including enhanced benefits for senior citizens such as a ₹2,500 pension and medical coverage up to ₹5 lakh. He emphasized the budget's middle-class-friendly measures, particularly highlighting tax exemptions up to ₹12 lakh annual income and reduced rates for higher brackets. The rally concluded with a personal touch as Modi interacted with a young supporter who had prepared a sketch for him, promising to respond with a letter.
