The Mooknayak English

New Delhi: In a move aimed at providing comprehensive social security benefits to unorganized workers, Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will launch the 'eShram-One Stop Solution' on October 21, 2024. This initiative, announced in the recent budget, will serve as a single platform for unorganized workers to access various government schemes and programs.

The 'eShram-One Stop Solution' will integrate information on beneficiaries of all social security and welfare schemes for unorganized workers. This will enable easy identification and implementation of these schemes, ensuring faster and more effective saturation. Currently, 12 schemes from different Central Ministries/Departments have been integrated with eShram.

eShram, since its launch on August 26, 2021, has registered over 30 crore unorganized workers, highlighting its significant reach and impact. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to supporting the welfare of India's unorganized workforce.
