Uthenge Bharat Ke Vaaste: Bundelkhand Dalit Adhikar Manch Initiates Awareness Campaign on Jyotiba Phule Jayanti

A meeting was convened by the Bundelkhand Dalit Adhikar Manch in Kalpi on the auspicious occasion of Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, where the attendees raised a resounding slogan —"Uthenge Bharat Ke Vaaste, Jyotiba Phule, Ambedkar aur Samvidhan Ke Raste." The participants pledged to create awareness about the constitutional values in the country through their campaign.

The issue of neglect of Ambedkar statue raised

The meeting was graced by the presence of Rajesh Gautam, Vimal Baudh, Rajkumar Jatav, Krishna Kumar Prajapati, Ramkumar Prajapati and Sanjay Valmiki, among others. During the meeting, the attendees lamented that Ambedkar Statues installed in the villages were being grossly neglected and surrounded by filth. In this regard, Rita Devi and Kanchan Verma called for sensitising women to drive a genuine change. Pradip More highlighted the importance of expediting the process of raising awareness about the constitution. The convener of Bundelkhand Dalit Adhikar Manch, Kuldeep Kumar Baudh, stated that the people present vowed to initiate an awareness campaign on the 14th of April. Furthermore, the group plans to conduct a survey of the Ambedkar Statues and issue a report analyzing their condition.
