The event, organized under the aegis of the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA), will host teams from three Naval Commands, comprising officers, cadets, and sailors, including Agniveers. The Marakkar Watermanship Training Centre (MWTC) at INA, renowned as one of the country's top sailing facilities, will be the venue for the competition.

The INSC is an annual inter-Command event that aims to promote competitive sailing among naval personnel. This year's championship will feature fleet racing in International Laser Class Association (ILCA-6) boats for women, ILCA-7 boats for men, and Bic Beach boats for windsurfing (open).
