New Delhi — On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met with the women refugees from Pakistan. Goyal assured them of the safety and security of the migrants of minority countries.

The minister said that the Citizenship Act will provide shelter and protection to all the refugees. He said that due to the strong will of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all these sisters have been able to get Indian citizenship under CAA.

The Citizenship (Amendment) Act provides safety and security to the migrants who have been given nationality under the CAA. This is a step to ensure the safety and security of the refugees.

After the meeting with the women refugees, Goyal also celebrated the Raksha Bandhan of Sadhvi Rithambara and Brahmakumari sisters. He said that this is one of the best celebrations of Raksha Bandhan in his life.
