New Delhi: The Danish Siddiqui Journalism Award has invited entries for its upcoming edition, recognizing journalists whose work reflects courage, integrity, empathy and a commitment to truth, according to the organizers.Instituted by the Danish Siddiqui Foundation, the award honours impactful journalism across print, digital, photojournalism and broadcast categories.

The award is named after Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Danish Siddiqui, whose work documented conflict, humanitarian crises and everyday life with depth and sensitivity. The foundation said the award aims to encourage ethical and responsible journalism at a time when reporters face increasing professional and safety challenges.

Entries are open to journalists, including foreign correspondents based in India, with submissions evaluated by an independent jury comprising senior journalists including Om Thanvi, Siddharth Varadarajan, Suhasini Haider, and Saurabh Dwivedi, the foundation said.Submissions can be made through the foundation’s official website at www.dsfasia.org/dsjaward , with the last date for entries being 15 February 2026.
