New Delhi– The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)will host a national workshop on Monday focused on effective public grievance redressal. The workshop, held in the national capital, will see the participation of around 500 officials from central and state governments.

The workshop aims to streamline grievance redressal mechanisms and enhance citizen experiences, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for timely and meaningful resolution of public issues. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, will deliver the keynote address and launch two key initiatives: the Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) 2023 and the CPGRAMS Mobile App 2.0.

The workshop will formulate the roadmap forward for effective redressal of public grievances and will include five sessions and 22 presentations by senior officials from various ministries and departments. A key focus will be the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics in the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), promoting intelligent grievance management. The workshop will also provide a platform for BHASHINI, IIT Kanpur, to showcase its contributions to CPGRAMS enhancements.
