New Delhi- The Aam Aadmi Party's head office in New Delhi was the site of a demonstration by the BJP on Monday, in which they slammed the Delhi government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for the IAS coaching centre flooding.

BJP MP from north-west Delhi Yogender Chandolia addressed the gathering and said that the Delhi government was to blame for the incident. He demanded the dissolution of the Delhi government and MCD.

Delhi Congress president Devendra Yadav also criticised the Delhi government over the incident, saying, "The Delhi government's ministers should resign if officers are not obeying their orders."

The demonstration was taken out by Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, who alleged that students had lost their lives in the city due to the negligence of the Delhi government. He said, "Strict action should be taken against officers whose negligence caused this incident."

The MCD seized some coaching institutes in the Old Rajendra Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar on Monday after they were found to be in violation of the rules.

Speaking on the occasion, Sachdeva said " "The golden future of the country is being sacrificed at the expense of AAP's corruption. Kejriwal's inhuman government in Delhi has crossed all limits of corruption and due to the criminal negligence of the AAP government, students who came to Delhi with dreams of a golden future are losing their lives. The unfortunate death of students in Rajendra Nagar is not an accident but murder."

He further added, " Whether it is Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Municipal Corporation or any department of the government machinery that is guilty of this incident, strict action should be taken against all of them. There should be a protest and the regional MLA Atishi Marlena should take responsibility of the incident and resign immediately."
