Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department Boosts Grievance Redressal

Enhanced CPGRAMS Integration and Swachhata Drive at DASD Calicut

The Mooknayak English

Calicut- As part of Special Campaign 4.0—an initiative led by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) to reduce government office backlogs—the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare (DA&FW) is actively implementing measures to streamline operations. During a recent visit by the Secretary of DARPG to the office of the Secretary (A&FW), discussions centered on strengthening the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS). Efforts are underway to integrate all relevant departmental platforms into CPGRAMS to provide a unified grievance redressal experience for citizens. This move is expected to eliminate duplication of efforts and improve operational efficiency, allowing officials to address grievances more effectively by consolidating them on a single platform.

In addition to enhancing its digital operations, the Directorate of Arecanut and Spices Development (DASD) in Calicut, a subordinate office of DA&FW, organized a Swachhata (cleanliness) program as part of the campaign. All employees actively participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining cleanliness in and around the office premises.
