Prime Minister emphasizes sustainable development and solar, wind energy

The Prime Minister emphasised the importance of sustainable development and said that India is committed to promoting green energy. He also highlighted the country's efforts in the field of solar power and wind energy.

"In the first hundred days, our priorities are clearly visible. It is also a reflection of our speed and scale," Modi said at the opening ceremony of the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor's Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He welcomed the dignitaries to the RE-INVEST Summit and expressed confidence that serious discussions will take place over the next three days on the future of energy, technology, and policies.

The Prime Minister said that the discussions and learnings from this conference will benefit the entire humanity. He conveyed his best wishes for successful discussions. He said that India is the best bet of the 21st century.

"India is the first nation in the G-20 to achieve the climate commitments set in Paris, 9 years ahead of the deadline," Modi said. The Prime Minister said that the government is committed to the principles of Pro-Planet people.
