New Delhi- The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing for July 18 a batch of petitions alleging paper leakage and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 exam, held on May 5.

The delay has been granted to the parties so that they can file their responses to the affidavits filed by the Centre and the NTA.

A bench led by Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra granted the adjournment.

It has also clarified that the Centre and the NTA will file their affidavits in the court by July 18, 2024. The Supreme Court had earlier said in a statement that it was not satisfied with the results of the NEET-UG 2024 exam.
