IIT Delhi, UQ Launch Joint PhD Admissions

Students to study in both world-class institutions

New Delhi- The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has recently announced the commencement of the application process for the joint PhD admissions program with the University of Queensland (UQ).

The program is to be delivered by the UQ-IIT Delhi Research Academy (UQIDAR) at IIT Delhi. The admissions process for the joint PhD program in January 2025 has begun and the students are required to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) form on the official website of UQIITD. The process will run till October 3, 2024.

The students are eligible to apply for the program if they have a background in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, humanities, or social sciences. Those with a background in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, humanities, or social sciences can visit https://uqiitd.org/apply/ to submit the EOI form. The students will be given the chance to complete the program in both the world-class institutions. Upon successful completion of the program, the students will receive a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from both the universities.
