New Delhi— Two men in Nepal's Birgunj were arrested for kidnapping Neeraj Kumar Paswan, a 14-year-old Madhesi Dalit child and murdering him.

His body was found inside the septic tank of Shree Gurukul Panna Memorial English Boarding School in Parsa district of Nepal.

A few others were involved, too. But the local police have released the identities of two people for now. Shyam Prasad Yadav, 24 and Dileep Kumar Patel, 30 are in the police custody. Latter was a mathematics teacher in the same school that the child went to.

The child was murdered a few hours after being kidnapped. However, the kidnappers kept asking for ransom with the family for 12 days.

The police have found the sim cards used by kidnappers to call Neeraj’s parents. They have also found his blue jeans pants and a belt.

According to the police, the kidnappers were in dire need of money which led them to commit this crime.
