New Delhi- The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has invited the creators to participate in the 25 ‘Create in India’ challenges. The challenges will be organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting under the theme ‘Create in India’. These challenges will provide an opportunity to showcase the creativity of Indian creators in the fields of music, education, and anti-piracy.
The Prime Minister emphasised the growing opportunities in the creative sectors and the need to harness the talent of the Indian community. He said, “In these changing times, the nature of jobs is changing, and new sectors are emerging such as gaming, animation, reel making, film making or poster making. If you can perform well in any of these skills… your talent can get a very big platform.”
He further noted the growing scope for bands, community radio enthusiasts, and creative professionals in the country. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has launched the 25 challenges to promote talent and creativity across a variety of fields.
The Prime Minister encouraged creators to visit the website wavesindia.org to participate in these challenges. “I specially urge the creators in the country to ensure participation and bring their creativity to the fore,” he said. These challenges will serve as a precursor to the upcoming World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES). The winning projects will be displayed on the official website of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
