New Delhi- India and the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in public sector auditing. The agreement was signed between India's Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), Girish Chandra Murmu, and the UAE Accountability Authority during a bilateral meeting.
The MoU focuses on sharing knowledge, building capacity, and exchanging best practices in public sector auditing. Both countries aim to enhance their audit methods and improve governance.
The UAE's Accountability Authority President, Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, highlighted that this partnership would strengthen audit practices and bilateral ties, ultimately leading to better transparency and accountability in government operations.
