Agriculture Minister to Launch AgriSURE Fund, Krishi Nivesh Portal

New Delhi- On 3rd September, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will launch the AgriSURE Fund and the Krishi Nivesh Portal at an event in PUSA, New Delhi. The event will also include the presentation of the Greenathon AIF Excellence Awards, recognizing the top-performing banks and states for their contributions to the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) scheme.

Joining Chouhan at the event will be Union Ministers of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Bhagirath Choudhary and Ram Nath Thakur. The awards aim to encourage banks and states to continue enhancing their performance under the AIF scheme, which was launched in 2020 to develop post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets.

Representatives from various states and banks will be present during the award ceremony, which is expected to foster collective achievements and promote excellence within the agricultural sector.
